As of today you can now access Tyro – through the app (from the Google playstore or Apple store) or website – with limited features currently being made available by us.
You will have received an email in June to the email adress you provided us with when you registered your son in the college. Check your spam/junk mail if it is not in your inbox. If you have changed email address and not updated us you will not have received any message and you should ring the school office on 051421182.
We will add more features throughout August and ultimately you will be able to:
- View timetables
- Manage absence requests including sign-in and sign-out of the college
- View absences
- View assessment results
- View positive and negative behaviour comments
- Give permissions for school activiies
- Pay Fees – these can be paid once your account is set up.
- Receive notifications
NB: Tyro is for parent/guardian use and you should not give your son access to this accout as he will then have full control over all of the features above.
VSware will continue to be accessible until the end of August. However, we recommend uninstalling the VSWare App as soon as possible. When we close our College account with VSware all data held by VSware will be deleted in compliance with their GDPR policy. All of this data will be transferred to our TYRO database.

When setting up your Tyro App we very strongly advise that you ‘enable notifications’ as you will then automatically recieve notifcation to your mobile device of events, absences, sign-in and sign-out by your son. This will help you to keep up to date with your son’s attendance, reports and upcoming activities.
