On Thursday night a presentation on the theme of ‘Balancing study and leisure’, organized by the parents council, took place in the school. Well attended by parents and students, it was an informative and entertaining evening.
The first of 3 speakers was Noirin Roche, a nutritionist, who works with many sports teams, most notably the Kilkenny senior hurlers. Noirin provided many practical tips on diet with particular reference to school going teenagers and also to those actively involved in sport. ‘There are no bad foods, only bad diets’.
