We are now into the final term of the year with only 4 more weeks of class time remaining. Project work, field studies, orals are all completed for the exam classes while on Friday, the Junior Cert. Art practical was completed.
The 6th year Graduation Mass will take place on Thursday, May 19th with the Transition Year presentation night on Monday, May 30th.
A guest speaker from NUIG spoke to the 5th years about third level experience in the City of the Tribes on Thursday.
Among past pupils in the news recently were Eddie O’Connor who berated the GAA hierarchy over the payments to managers issue. Eddie certainly doesn’t pull his punches or temper his language when offering his views.
At the Punchestown Racing Festival this week another past pupil Tom Doyle rode the winner of the Guiness Gol Cup when steering Follow The Plan to a great success. Well done to him.
